Daniel is the Operations Coordinator at AccelFoods, where he supports the platform's daily operations.
Daniel is a New York City native and graduate with distinction from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where he studied Biology and Foreign Languages & Literatures. Daniel was also a member of the varsity lacrosse team at Kenyon, but his main extracurricular passion was for all things having to do with food. Daniel’s summer employment throughout his college career was geared toward working in and learning about the different phases of the food service industry’s value chain from farm to table. His experience includes working in restaurant kitchens as a garde manger line cook and managing produce sales at the Union Square Greenmarket for a local farmer from Roscoe, NY.
When he is not playing or coaching on the lacrosse field, you can find Daniel in his kitchen cooking or at a restaurant taking tasteful photos of food. Daniel speaks Italian and Spanish and is on the hunt for the world’s best tiramisu.
