Eric is an AF Operating Partner and CMO of our portfolio company, ROAR Organic. Eric is the former CMO and member of the Executive Leadership Team of CORE Nutrition (makers of CORE Hydration and CORE Organic), which recently exited to Keurig Dr Pepper for $525 Million. Prior to joining CORE, Eric was the Head of Marketing and Executive Team Member for Pirate’s Booty, acquired by B&G Foods in 2013. In this role, he helped steer the strategic direction of the company as well as direct the overall marketing approach. Before Pirate’s Booty, Eric spent 7 years at Glaceau and was promoted to SVP Brand Marketing. He directed the marketing strategy that helped grow vitaminwater and smartwater from small entrepreneurial brands to the #1 water and the #1 premium water, respectively, in the country. Eric received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his MBA from The Harvard Business School. He currently lives in Westport, CT with his wife Jennifer and two children who are both under 10 and already well-versed in analyzing consumer demographics to optimize their conversion rates on social media.
