Rob Babich is currently the Director of Sales for Cookie Chips.
Prior to joining Cookie Chips at the start of 2016, Rob was the Regional Sales Manager at Krave Jerky. Rob led the charge in launching new retailers & distributors as well as managing a field team in the Northeast. Rob was instrumental in the acceleration of Krave’s brand recognition and sales growth in the East. Krave was later acquired by Hershey.
Rob began his career with Coca-Cola Enterprises, where he held an array of positions from sales to operations. He managed a team of account managers, merchandisers, & drivers with a keen focus on food service channels such as colleges, hospitals, airports & many more.
In 2006, Rob joined Glaceau as a key account manager, food service. While with Glaceau, Rob brought his relationships, experience, drive, and passion to build brands to another level. At Glaceau, he gained the experience that he credits with getting him to where he is today. Not only did he meet great mentors and leaders, but he learned valuable lessons in launching a brand, team building, igniting distributors, and working outside the box.
In 2009, Rob joined Pirate Brands, the makers of Pirate’s Booty. As the Regional Brand Manager for NY Metro he led a field team of sales and marketing managers while focusing on traditional grocery & natural accounts. He successfully drove volume, market share & brand awareness in the market for 4 consecutive years, ultimately leading to an acquisition by B&G Foods.
Rob earned a BS in Marketing from St. John’s University. He resides in Hauppauge, NY with his wife Luisa, and two children. He’s an avid NY sports fan, when he’s not rooting for the Yankees or Islanders you will find him at a local park coaching his kid’s softball, soccer, basketball & baseball teams.
