Frank Zampardi is a Partner of AccelFoods, an investor in disruptive food and beverage companies, providing its portfolio with industry access, expertise, and infrastructure to propel innovation and fuel growth. Prior to joining AccelFoods, Frank was Senior Vice President of Sales for Cookie Chips; the Director of Sales for Krave Jerky (acquired by Hershey); and Division Vice President of Sales at Pirate Brands, the makers of Pirate’s Booty (acquired by B&G Foods). Frank was instrumental in the acceleration of Pirate’s Booty’s brand recognition and sales growth nationally.
Frank began his career with the Pepsi Bottling Group and then Danone Waters of North America, focusing on the Evian and Volvic brands. Thereafter, Frank joined Glaceau from September 2002 through the acquisition of the company by Coca-Cola in 2007. While with Glaceau, Frank developed an appreciation and understanding for the benefits and sacrifices necessary to build a brand. He gained valuable knowledge and experience involving launching a brand, building a team, igniting distributors, implementing sales strategies, and executing field marketing programs.
Frank earned a BS in Hotel/Restaurant Management from The Pennsylvania State University. He resides in Bethesda, MD with his wife, Meghan, and their three young children. When he is not driving his kids to various sporting events, birthday parties and play dates, Frank enjoys cross fit, coaching, reading and watching sports–especially his Nittany Lions.
